New Patient? Start Here. We’re So Excited to Meet You.

Welcome to Your First Visit

Whether you just brought home a new puppy, adopted a senior cat, or switched vets — we’re glad you’re here. First visits are about getting to know your pet, answering your questions, and making sure you both feel at ease.

First time at the vet? We’ll guide you through it — vaccines, diet, behavior, microchips, and anything else you need.

If your pet was seen elsewhere, bring whatever records you can. If not, we’ll start fresh and work together from there.

What to Expect

We’ll do a full physical exam, chat with you about your pet’s history (if known), and recommend any next steps based on their age, lifestyle, and overall health. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions — no pressure, no rush.

Why Pets (and Their People) Love It Here

It feels like home.

The space is calm, quiet, and designed to help pets feel safe — not clinical.

Pets can settle in.

They’re free to move around, sniff, curl up, even hop on the furniture.

You stay with them.

No sending your pet to the back — you’re part of every step.

We meet them where they are.

Scared? Shy? Wiggly? We adjust our approach to suit your pet.

Before You Arrive

Try to give yourself a bit of extra time. Rushing makes the visit more stressful for both of you. If your pet tends to get carsick, you can skip a big meal beforehand. Staying calm yourself goes a long way — pets pick up on your energy. And if your pet gets anxious at the vet, just let us know when you arrive. We’ll take it slow and adjust as needed.

What to Bring

Here’s what’s helpful to bring along, if you have it:

  • Any past medical records (even a photo on your phone is fine)

  • A list of medications or supplements your pet is currently taking

  • A secure carrier or leash (even if your pet is calm at home, it’s important here)

  • A favorite toy to help your pet stay calm and comfy

  • Insurance info — if your pet is insured, it can help for planning care and paperwork

  • Your questions — we want to make sure you get answers
